What Heaven is Saying Today

Wow! The Lord poured out more than I expected this morning. His presence was so powerful and I felt renewed and energized by His glory. I was reminded of the promise in Ephesians 3:20-21, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. May you receive more than you ask, think or even imagine today and always. The Lord is generous beyond our understanding and I give Him praise, glory, honor and majesty forever and ever. Amen!

 

The Lord gave me a vision of a beautiful white waterlily opening majestically toward heaven. I saw what looked like a white-hot fire blazing upward toward Heaven. I sensed the presence of the Spirit of holiness who was helping to draw us near to the Lord and lifting us heavenward in Christ Jesus.

 

Suddenly the vision shifted and I seemed to be in the air with the Lord above a beautiful ocean inlet with many waterways and small islands. The waterways were so calm and peaceful. I began to feel the Shalom glory in my heart. As I looked at this beautiful scene the Lord made me aware that this represented an illusion of peace. The Holy Spirit led me to Jeremiah 6:13-14, “Because from the least of them even to the greatest of them, everyone is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even to the priest, everyone deals falsely. They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ We must beware of false prophets who cry out peace, peace when there is no peace.

 

Then the vision shifted again and I was with the Lord over a large city at night. It seemed so calm and peaceful as the street lights outlined the city. Lights were on in most of the buildings and homes. The Lord made me aware that this too was an illusion. Suddenly, I was carried back to the first scene of the calm waters. I looked behind where I had been standing and saw a huge tsunami wave coming toward the peaceful coast. Those who trusted the false prophets were helpless against the powerful wave which was coming. I didn’t see what was happening over the cities, but understood they were also in danger. I wanted to cry out to everyone, “Wake up! Stay alert! Watch for what is coming! Don’t be lulled to sleep by false prophecies!”

 

In spite of all this, I continued to feel the Shalom glory of the Lord in my heart. I marveled at what the Lord has planned for His people even when judgment falls on unfaithful nations. His arm is not too short to help those who trust in Him. I was reminded of Psalm 37:23-25, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.”

 

I thought back to the beautiful flower opening with the Spirit of holiness. Those who are drawn close to the Lord will be protected from the storms to come. Those who trust in Him will not be disappointed. Ample provision is stored up for the righteous and the glory of the Lord is over them like a covering of fire. I am so thankful for the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord. May His glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea!
