What Heaven Is Saying Today by Pastor James Durham

What Heaven is Saying Today

This morning I heard the Lord decreeing that this will be a year of exceptional creativity. We are made in His Image and we are meant to be exceptionally creative. Gifts, talents, and wisdom are being released to assist us in our creative purposes. I also heard the Lord say again that this will be a year of “CHANGE!” Expect many things to change and be prepared to move quickly with the Lord. Remember how He said, “Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And He said to me, ‘Write, for these words are true and faithful.’” (Revelation 21:5) Be ready to change, create, and move quickly as directed by the Holy Spirit.

Several times this morning, I heard the Lord speak about a spirit of offense coming against the body of Christ. I remembered how the Lord said, “And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” (Matthew 11:6 and Luke 7:23) This morning, I was hearing the Lord saying for us to avoid all offense. I heard Him say, “Break off every spirit of offense.” “Avoid every temptation to be offended.” Then I heard Him say, “Cast off every spirit of offense.” Finally, I heard Him say: “Get free and stay free from every offense.” I was led by the Spirit to Proverbs 6:16-19, “These six things the Lord hates,  Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:  A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.” These things will flow from a spirit of offense, and we need to avoid them.

I am praying that we will be enabled to be creative and wise servants who avoid offense and sow seeds of harmony and peace! I am praying the James 4:7 prayer for our protection in the mighty name of Yeshua ha Messiach! Amen and Amen!
