What Heaven Is Saying Today by Pastor James Durham

This morning I kept seeing something like a hand wipe away dark clouds so that light could shine down from Heaven. I didn’t get a word right away so I kept expecting more. Over and over I saw the same thing. Then I heard the Lord say: “Get your eyes off of the darkness and focus on the light. The floodgates are open. You need to focus on the light to receive what is being poured out.”

The Lord is wiping away your darkness so His light can shine on you. Open your eyes to see what is being released for you today.

The darkness of sin and shame are being wiped away so the light of righteousness can shine through.

The darkness of pain and sickness is being wiped away so the light of healing can shine on you.

The darkness of debt and lack is being wiped away so the light of prosperity can shine on you.

The darkness of fear is being wiped away so the light of power, love and soundness of mind can shine through. (2 Tim 1:7)

The darkness of doubt is being wiped away so the light of faith can shine on you for a great breakthrough today.

The darkness of loneliness is being wiped away so that the light of relationship can shine on you today.

This is a day of great breakthrough. Let the Light of Heaven shine on you so you can see what is pouring out from the floodgates of Heaven. I heard the Lord speak of oil flowing today: the oil of joy, the oil of healing, the oil of anointing, and the oil restoration are all flowing from Heaven for you today. I pray that you will receive it all in the mighty name of Yeshua ha Messiach! Amen and Amen!!

This morning I heard “Monday Mercies.” Grace and mercy are being released today for healing in spirit, soul and body. Today someone is getting a major renewing of their mind and elevation in spiritual authority. Stress, anxiety and worry are cast down today. I saw people being healed of bone spurs on their feet and some kind of black growth on the feet. Your walk is being restored today. Someone with pain in the knees is being healed right now in Yeshua’s name. I heard a strange illness and didn’t get it exactly, but the word “complex” is part of the diagnosis. You are being healed today. Mercy, grace and forgiveness are pouring out from heaven today like fresh oil mixed with honey. I pray that you will receive it abundantly today. This is a day of victory over the works of the devil. Amen and Amen in Yeshua’s name Amen!

After finishing my study in the Word this morning, I prepared to go up to our worship room to spend time with the Lord. As I prepared to leave my office, I was suddenly surround by, immersed in and saturated by a very sweet fragrance. I had just gone to the closet to get a fresh shirt and wondered if the fragrance was in the fabric. It was not from the shirt. When I arrived in the worship room, I was surrounded again by this wonderful fragrance. It seemed like some kind of perfume, but it also seemed to be the fragrance of something very clean. I asked for the Holy Spirit to let me know the meaning of this fragrance. The only thing I received at that moment was we are in a season which is calling for a cleansing of our spirits and souls. Are you ready to be cleansed by the Holy Spirit in readiness for the new season of the Lord? I asked to receive all that this fragrance was intended to do.

As I went face down before the Lord, I began to see some unusual visions. I saw something like a white funnel cloud coming down and sweeping everything clean around this area. I sensed that I was receiving what the fragrance was released to do. I believe this is for you as well. I thought about Psalm 24:3-4, “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.” There is a cleansing being released today so that we are prepared to enter into the Lord’s presence in a special way. As I began to understand this, I saw a vision of a gilded portal into Heaven. The invitation into His presence is very special today and we need to be cleansed to receive what He is releasing to us.

Suddenly, I saw something in the open (gilded) portal. It was an extremely white sheep. It was very plump and seemed so pure and innocent. I immediately thought of what John said in John 1;29-30, “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, ‘Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! This is He of whom I said, After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.’” My thoughts suddenly went to Pesach which begins on Shabbat next week. We are being prepared to receive the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Then I received another revelation about Pesach (Passover). At sundown this evening, the Shabbat Hagadol (Great Shabbat) will begin. It is the Shabbat before Pesach and It was on this day that the Lord commanded the people to each take a lamb into their homes in readiness for that first Pesach celebration. This originally happened on Nissan 10, but over the years most families in Israel brought the lambs into their homes on the eve of Shabbat Hagadol. The Lord is releasing a cleansing for us so that we can welcome the Lamb of God into our homes once again at sundown tonight. Are you ready to host the powerful presence of Yeshua ha Messiach tonight? May you be cleansed in spirit, soul and body to be ready for a special visitation with the Lord tonight! Amen?

The Lord then gave me more good news. The cleansing of our bodies includes words of knowledge for healings. There is a special anointing released today for healing all kinds of back problems (especially in the lower back). Those who have pain in their legs are being healed right now so that you can fully receive the presence of the Lord tonight. Someone is being healed of neck pain today. Someone else was just healed of headaches. Colon diseases are being healed right now. This is the night of a special visitation from the Great Physician. May you receive you healing today or tonight in His presence. Amen? I felt all these painful things as words of knowledge and the pain lifted immediately after I released them. Receive you healing now in the mighty name of Yeshua ha Messiach, the Lamb of God who is cleansing you today! Amen and Amen!!!

After being away for eight days on a ministry trip, it felt really good to be in the Presence of the Lord in our worship room this morning. I  had an intense desire to get into His presence and hear a fresh word for today. I was soon face down and seeking to hear His voice. Then I began to hear Him say, “Rivers are flowing.” I didn’t fully grasp the meaning and waited to hear more, but He repeated these same three words several times. Because He repeated it several times, I understood that this was a reference to several things which will be coming from the Lord very soon.

In something like a pre-dawn vision, I saw what looked like a wall of water coming from right to left on a wide river. I immediately thought about rivers of judgment coming. However, this was not the word of the Lord for this season. I saw people standing in the shallow part of the river as the wall of water stood up behind them. Then I heard the Lord say, “This is a river of mercy.” I thought about one name of the Lord: “Adonai Elohim.” Adonai carries a meaning of mercy and Elohim often refers to the God of judgment. I was reminded that His judgment is preceded by mercy, and this is the time of mercy. I am praying for a harvest of souls for the Kingdom to be released today. I am praying for those positioned for judgment to experience the mercy of the Lord and to turn back to Him. I am asking the Lord of the Harvest to call many workers into service today. In this season, the intercessors are called once again to stand in the gap so the judgment will be restrained and the mercy will flow through. (Ezekiel 22:30)

Then I heard the Lord speak of rivers of living water which are flowing today. I thought about Revelation 7:17, “For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Do you need some living water today? Have you been through a season of darkness praying for the dawning of the Day of the Lord? He has some good news for you today. Springs of living water are being released to you which will wash away your tears and restore your strength, energy, hope, faith and joy today. Have you been standing under the shadow of judgment and fearing condemnation? The Spirit of life is flowing like a river today. Romans 2:1-2, “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.” Rivers are flowing and they are bringing good things from the Lord. Today is a good day to receive all that He is pouring out for you. The oil of joy is flowing like a river today. I pray that you will receive it and be completely restored by the Lord.

Then I heard the Lord say again, “Rivers are flowing,” and a new revelation came to me. My thoughts went to what Jesus said in John 7:37-38, “On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” The Lord is calling those who thirst to come to the river (See also Isaiah 55:1-3) and receive freely “the sure mercies of David.” The Lord wants those who love and obey Him to flow with living water. The dry season is over. This is the season of abundance. This is the season of restoration. This is the season to get back into the service of the Lord and let the living water flow through us to others in need of His mercy and grace. The Lord is calling us to let the river flow today. I pray that you will hear Him calling to you! I pray that you will be refreshed, renewed, and energized to flow with living water today and always! Amen and Amen!

This morning I kept seeing the shadow of wings in front of me during my worship time. It seemed like the wings were behind me and the light was casting a shadow over me. I thought about what David said in Psalm 57:1-3, “Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; and in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by. I will cry out to God Most High, to God who performs all things for me. He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. God shall send forth His mercy and His truth.” Under the shadow of His wings this morning I felt two powerful realities. First (like Davie), I felt like the protection of the Lord was being revealed by the shadow of His wings. The second thing I felt was a powerful anointing for healing this morning. As I felt this, I remembered Malachi 4:2a, “The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings;” If you need protection and healing this morning, it is available to you. Amen?

Suddenly the things I was seeing changed. I saw the shadows of a mountain range lengthening over me. Once again, the thing being shadowed was behind me and didn’t seem important in and of itself. What was significant was the lengthening shadows. I was seeing this early in the morning, but the vision was of the closing of the day. Then I heard the Lord say, “It is later than  you think.” The Spirit led me to Jeremiah 6:4, “Prepare war against her; arise, and let us go up at noon. Woe to us, for the day goes away, for the shadows of the evening are lengthening.” This was given to Jeremiah to warn of a coming judgment. Time is short and we must be about the Father’s business with intensity and focus while it is still light. Amen? Remember what Jesus said In John 9:4, “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.”

I began to get words of knowledge for healing. Someone is being healed of pain in the neck and back. If this is you, receive it by faith right now. Perhaps this is a word for you to minister to others. I heard a word for people with headaches – it is time to be set free from every debilitating pain in your head. Receive it right now. Several people will have their ankles healed today. Receive it in the name of Yeshua ha Messiach. There is also healing for relationships today. I heard a wonderful word from the Lord. Parents who have lost contact with their children are going to be reunited very soon – perhaps today. I thought about Malachi 4:5-6, “See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers;” This is a day to claim the promise and begin to make decrees that the hearts of children will return to their fathers and mothers. Amen?

I woke up hungry again this morning: hungry to be in the presence of the Lord. As I studied the Word this morning, my hunger continued to grow. Shortly after going into our worship room, I went face down covered with a large Tallit. I prayed to the Lord, saying that I just wanted to be in His presence this morning. Suddenly I went into a powerful vision. I was standing before a huge wall of fire. The fire was moving in waves from my left toward my right. As the waves came across in front of me, I saw that they rolling and tumbling with great power. I thought about the description of the Lord in Exodus 24:17-18a, “The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel. So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain.” I was very grateful for the answer to my prayer, but now I had a different issue. What was I supposed to do in the presence of this consuming fire? I prayed to the Lord and asked if this was the fire of judgment or the fire of revival. The Lord said, “Both!”

Before I could fully get the meaning of this, the vision shifted. I was under a tree looking up at the leaves. In the vision, the season appeared to be early spring. As I watched, it became spring, early summer, and mid-summer. I heard the Lord say, “Things are going to accelerate. Harvest time is coming, and people are not ready for it. Many are just trying to enjoy the good feelings of the seasons.” I thought about how some people easily get focused on the flesh and the pleasures of this world. Many of these pleasures are not bad by nature, but anything which distracts us from our purpose and our destiny needs to be avoided. I felt an urgency in my spirit for people to be ready for the harvest season which is already upon us. I thought about what Jesus said in Matthew 9:37-38, “Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

In both visions, I sensed a strong call to the intercessors to be fervent in prayer. As I considered the fires of judgment, my thoughts went once again to Jeremiah 5:14, “Therefore this is what the LORD God Almighty says: “Because the people have spoken these words, I will make my words in your mouth a fire and these people the wood it consumes.” I sensed that the Lord wants us to release fire which will burn away those things which hinder people from their destiny. I also thought about what the Lord spoke in Ezekiel 22:30, “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” Are you ready to stand in the gap as the fires of judgment flow over the land? As I thought about the fires of revival, my thoughts went to Hebrews 12:28-29, “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.”

May we experience great grace as we serve the Lord in the harvest season which is already here! Remember Acts 4:33, “And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.” This is the season of great power for the harvest and great grace to win souls for the kingdom of God. I pray that the Lord will bless our service and add daily to the number of those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Amen and Amen!!!

During my time of studying the Word of God this morning, I became more and more aware of the Holiness of the Lord. I began to feel such awe at His holiness that I hesitated to go up to the worship room. I wanted to be like the description in Psalm 24:3-4, “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.” I washed my hands several times as I prayed: “Lord this doesn’t really clean my hands or make my heart pure to be in your presence. Only You can do that. So, I am asking for you to cleanse my hands and make my heart pure so that I can come into your presence.” In the worship room, His glory was powerful and I was so grateful to be allowed into His Holy Presence.

As I went face down before Him, I thought about many believers around the world who call this Holy Saturday in remembrance of the Lord being in the tomb. Then the connection came. I remembered Romans 3:3-4, “…concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. I was sensing the presence of the Spirit of holiness this morning and it was awesome. I thought about Hebrews 12:14, “Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.” I prayed for the Lord to help me be more like this so that I could experience more of Him. I am praying this for you as well. Amen?

Suddenly, I was lifted up and shown a vision of a very pregnant woman. I say very pregnant because she was huge. I thought she was about to deliver at least seven babies. I prayed for wisdom to understand this. I heard the Lord say, “I am about to birth something so huge that people will have difficulty understanding it.” My thoughts went back to the tomb where Jesus awaited a kind of rebirth. No one knew how big the next day was going to be. No one had a clue about how far this would go and how powerful it would be for the entire world.  No one was really expecting what the Lord was about to birth. And according to Romans 3:4, it was the Spirit of holiness who carried the power to bring this about.

Are you feeling the holiness of the Lord today? Are you feeling the presence of the Spirit of holiness? I believe that when you really feel it, you will also experience how far you fall short. I am praying that the Lord will prepare His disciples today for what He is about to birth in the spiritual realm. I am praying for more wisdom and revelation to understand it when it manifests. I am praying that the Lord will birth a fresh new move of holiness in preparation for the great end time revival and harvest. May the Lord prepare His Church to carry the fire of revival! I pray these things in the mighty name of Yeshua ha Messiach. Amen and Amen!!!!

Wow! The Lord poured out more than I expected this morning. His presence was so powerful and I felt renewed and energized by His glory. I was reminded of the promise in Ephesians 3:20-21, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. May you receive more than you ask, think or even imagine today and always. The Lord is generous beyond our understanding and I give Him praise, glory, honor and majesty forever and ever. Amen!

The Lord gave me a vision of a beautiful white waterlily opening majestically toward heaven. I saw what looked like a white-hot fire blazing upward toward Heaven. I sensed the presence of the Spirit of holiness who was helping to draw us near to the Lord and lifting us heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Suddenly the vision shifted and I seemed to be in the air with the Lord above a beautiful ocean inlet with many waterways and small islands. The waterways were so calm and peaceful. I began to feel the Shalom glory in my heart. As I looked at this beautiful scene the Lord made me aware that this represented an illusion of peace. The Holy Spirit led me to Jeremiah 6:13-14, “Because from the least of them even to the greatest of them, everyone is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even to the priest, everyone deals falsely. They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ We must beware of false prophets who cry out peace, peace when there is no peace.

Then the vision shifted again and I was with the Lord over a large city at night. It seemed so calm and peaceful as the street lights outlined the city. Lights were on in most of the buildings and homes. The Lord made me aware that this too was an illusion. Suddenly, I was carried back to the first scene of the calm waters. I looked behind where I had been standing and saw a huge tsunami wave coming toward the peaceful coast. Those who trusted the false prophets were helpless against the powerful wave which was coming. I didn’t see what was happening over the cities, but understood they were also in danger. I wanted to cry out to everyone, “Wake up! Stay alert! Watch for what is coming! Don’t be lulled to sleep by false prophecies!”

In spite of all this, I continued to feel the Shalom glory of the Lord in my heart. I marveled at what the Lord has planned for His people even when judgment falls on unfaithful nations. His arm is not too short to help those who trust in Him. I was reminded of Psalm 37:23-25, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.”

I thought back to the beautiful flower opening with the Spirit of holiness. Those who are drawn close to the Lord will be protected from the storms to come. Those who trust in Him will not be disappointed. Ample provision is stored up for the righteous and the glory of the Lord is over them like a covering of fire. I am so thankful for the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord. May His glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea!

During our worship time this morning, I was caught up in a vision. I seemed to be standing on the stage in what looked like a church with the communion table on my right. In front of me were two steps down. I saw a commercial quality mop bucket on the floor in front of me and watched as a man mopped the floor. When he put the mop back in the bucket, the Lord said, “Do it again.” The man mopped the floor again. It looked clean, but the Lord said, “Do it again.” The man standing next to this man took a turn and mopped the floor. No matter how many times this was done it wasn’t clean enough.

As I looked around I realized that we were not in a church. Everything was made of gold. Even the mop and mop bucket were made of gold. I was suddenly in awe because I realized that we were in the Holy Place with the Lord. The Holy Spirit began to reveal to me why the floor wasn’t clean. People have been disrespecting the Lord and have become overly casual in His presence. People were wearing dirty shoes into the Holy Place. Once you have made in unclean it is impossible to cleanse it with your best efforts. It can only be cleaned by the blood of the Lamb. I remembered again the instructions in Psalm 24:3-6, “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face.” If we are this generation of Jacob, it is important for us to have a proper respect for all the holy things of the Lord. Most of all we need to have respect for His holiness.

Then I saw a man standing in front of the communion table. He spoke a strong declaration about the goodness of the Lord and his commitment to Him. Almost immediately he turned to someone else and denied what he had just affirmed. He did this several times. I also saw other people doing the same thing. The Lord said, “Many people need to mop out their wishy washy mouths before they come to My table. I looked at the mop in the bucket and thought about how that was the only thing in the room for cleansing. It wasn’t a pleasant thought, but it seemed to be better than the alternative of standing before the Lord with a double minded spirit. I didn’t see anyone use the mop to clean their mouth, but I felt like many of us needed to do something to clean up.

When we received communion this morning, I prayed for the blood of Jesus to cleanse our hands, mouths and feet. I prayed for the Lord to purge everything that might hinder us from drawing near to Him. I prayed for the blood of Jesus to come into us and purify our hearts so that they can be a clean temple for the Lord’s presence. Cleanse us O Lord and renew our minds in the mighty name of Yeshua ha Messiach. Amen and Amen!!!

After an awesome time in worship, I went face down before the Lord as I prayed to know what the Lord is saying today that we can say and what the Lord is doing today that we can do. Suddenly, I went through something like a thin veil of light. In this vision of the Lord, I saw a huge pile of very ancient armor. Each piece of armor was very ornate and seemed to be something worn by a king or a general. Many of the pieces were helmets and some were made of gold. As I thought about how magnificent these looked, I saw a huge hole in the middle of the pile. I move closer and saw that it was actually a very deep pit which seemed almost bottomless.

Then I heard the Lord say: “What the world sees as symbols of honor and strength is like a deep pit to me. This is not real honor and there is no lasting glory in the affairs of men.” A passage of scripture came to mind.

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, because “All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you. (1 Peter 1:22-25)

Then I saw a door open into heaven. Actually, it was two doors. The first door opened and I saw a short hallway to the second door which also opened. As I watched, a man walked through the first door. Suddenly he was sprayed with living water. As it covered his body, he seemed to disappear. Then I realized that all of his outer appearance, honor and human glory was washed away so that he could enter into the Lord’s presence. I thought about David’s question in Psalm 24:3-6, “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face. If we are willing to receive it, the Lord provides the cleansing necessary for us to enter into the Presence.

With natural eyes, I was unable to see the man at this point, but in the Spirit I watched him move through the second door. On the other side of this door, I could see a magnificent amber light which looked like fire. It was the glory of the Lord and the man was now able to be in His presence. This was such a wonderful thing to watch. I am praying for you to receive the Lord’s cleansing today. May the living water flow over you and through you so that you will have clean hands and a pure heart! May you enter into the Glory of the Lord! Cast off all human glory and seek only the glory of the Lord. Amen?
