What Heaven is Saying Today
This morning I was face down before the Lord crying out to hear what Heaven is Saying Today. I asked the Holy Spirit to reveal what the Father is saying that we can say and to show us what the Father is doing that we can do. Suddenly, I was carried by the Spirit in a vision to the South China Sea. In the predawn light, I saw a family on a fishing boat. This family was in the fishing business and they were seeking a catch which would feed their family. As I was moved closer, I saw that their boat was an old military boat from the era of the war in Vietnam. It had been converted from its military purpose to bringing in food for a family and for those who would buy their fish. I was suddenly aware that the Lord was challenging us to convert our weapons of warfare into means to supply our needs. The Holy Spirit led me to Isaiah 2:4, “He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.”
One of the things Jesus came to accomplish was to change our nature so that we could love, bless, and encourage rather than war against one another. However, many world leaders have chosen the opposite. They have chosen the judgment referenced in Joel 3:9-10, “Proclaim this among the nations: ‘Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’” Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 5:43-45, “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”
I am praying for our leaders and our people to wake up and get into obedience to the Lord. I believe we are very close to a time of judgment like a world war. Our leaders seem to be blind and leading us into the cataclysmic mistakes of the last century. World leaders are again grasping for power and trying to establish control over the entire world. This has always failed and resulted in the deaths of millions of innocent people. Nations around the world are once again demonstrating a spirit of antisemitism. Cursing Israel will always bring a curse upon the nations. The Jezebel spirit is running rampant in the seats of power. I am praying for the Lord to establish righteous judges and restore nations with righteous leaders. I sensed the Lord was issuing a warning like the one I read this morning in Isaiah 63:5-6, “I looked, but there was no one to help, I was appalled that no one gave support; so my own arm worked salvation for me, and my own wrath sustained me. I trampled the nations in my anger; in my wrath I made them drunk and poured their blood on the ground.” Will the Lord find one to stand with Him today? May all believers rise up and help the Lord to restore our nations before judgment comes! Amen?
